"Don’t Stop
Believing~!” Do you know what song is
this? It’s a song by a band named Journey and it was a classic popular song
until it was chosen as one of the song that will be performed by television Hit
Series, GLEE! But, that is not about what I will write today. Yes, it’s about
GLEE and how it changes my life. But, if you don’t know what a GLEE is, you
totally deserved to get slushied. Ok, time to get serious. GLEE is an American
teen musical comedy-drama series. It
focuses on the reconstituted William McKinley High School glee
club, New Directions, which competes on the
show choir competition circuit while its disparate members deal with
relationships, sexuality, social issues, and learning to become an effective
team. Firstly, I thought that Glee is very boring and I even say “STOP
BELIEVING” because I thought that it was wrong to make a cover of other artist
song, and I hate when people do it. That was my first thought before I start
watching Glee. I start watching Glee when I was in Form 3, my sophomore year. I
watched the first season and it so interesting. All my comments about this
“GLEE” puff! Disappeared and make me realize don’t judge a book by its cover. I
finally understand the meaning now. Then the second season, and the third
season. They’ve already finish filming the fourth season of glee but I haven’t
watched it though and now they are filming the 5th season. I also
almost completed all the song that was featured in season one, two, three and a
little bit of season four. Well, Glee is all about acceptance and against the
all odds. That’s what I like about this Glee. I finally learning to accept
people, whether I like it or not. Glee also teaches people to accept everyone,
even gays, Lesbians and Transsexual. Don’t get the Glee wrong here. They (GLEE)
DO NOT encourage people to be Gays, Les or Trans, but teach us to accept them.
After all, they also a human being like us and they DID NOT choose to be like
this. Just accept them like a friend and you’ll can help them to go back to the
senses or recover. Glee also teaches me that whatever situation you’re in, try
to solve it by yourself first. If you cannot do it, try asking someone like
your parents, friends that you trust or your student guidance counselor at
school. Believe me, they’ll help you. 😃… For those who loves to sing, try to watch this television
series. It will surely inspire you to sing. That’s is my experience after
watching glee. Try to watch it, and you’ll love it.

I've Been There
"TO BECOME, LOVE AND SERVE LIKE JESUS". I still remember this theme from the Altar Serves Camp 2013 at Cathedral Saint Francis Xavier Keningau. This camp was held every year to teach the selected Altars a new ways to serve as Altars. A sum of 9 parish and 1 mission who join this camp such as Holy Cross Toboh, St.Theresa Tambunan, KSFX, St. Anthony Tenom, Holy Spirit Sook, St.Valentine Beufort, SYPS Sipitang, Bonda Maria Mission Kemabong, St.Peter Kuala Penyu and St.Patrick Membakut and every parish send 80 selected Altars to this camp. Next year it will be held at Holy Cross Toboh. I first joined this camp when I'm in form one. This is the fourth camp i've been and every year it brings something new and exciting.
Memories that Last Forever
I still remember this photo. I take this photo in 2010 at our primary school, SK Sunsuron with Jiejie, Quyen, Vivi, Val and Leo. The tree in this photo was the same tree that we used to play with. Every year we do our reunion at the same place but not until all of us are in Sunsuron on that day. All of us except Leo continue our studies in SMK Tambunan except Leo. He studies in Keningau. So, this is the only time we can see each other, in the end of the year.
This is the entrance to our class and Val's and Jiejie's desk and I am behind them. The desks is not suitable for us anymore, its too small for us. Hhehehe.. I miss those memories.. :-D
David
David Archuleta.
I am listening to his songs right now. David Archuleta is one of the artists
that I adore the most (so do Memen@Deffany). I know anyone has their own
favorite artists. I adore him since I am 10. The first song I listened to is
“Crush”. Through his song “Smoky Mountain Memories”, there’s a line that sound
like this ‘keep me strong’. His song also teaches me to be loyal in a
relationship (;-P)… hahaha. His song “Touch My Hand” inspires many people. This
song teaches us that if you want to become, do, or to be, grab and reach the
opportunity as far as you can. This song also teaches us never give up if doing
something. We will get it if we keep trying, but if you let go the opportunity
and give up, you never get the chance again. Not if there’s a miracle or second
chance. I do believe second chances. Do you? I believe everyone does. When I am
listening to a song, I will try to catch the meaning. I mean come on, if
somebody is listening to a song, who would not try to understand the meaning
right?
My Views
This is the third time I watched this movie since I got it. Olga gave me this movie (by the way, she still owes me some movies, so I am going to get it soon… hahahahah!!) Ok, back to the movie. This movie tells of how Hannah Montana’s popularity begins to take over Miley Stewart’s life. Miley’s father forces her to take a trip to her hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee to get some perspective on what matters most in her life. The star of this movie includes Miley Cyrus and her own father, Billy Ray Cyrus. I love this kind of movie because it includes moral values and also, music and singing. I really love that kind of stuff. Besides, when watching English drama, movies or whatever, it can improve our English. So do music and reading. When I watched this movie, I learn something, which is “LIFE IS A CLIMB, BUT THE VIEW IS GREAT”... that’s what Miley Cyrus said. And she expresses it through her song, The Climb. This movie also teaches me to be yourself and original. Besides, why do we need to be somebody? Everybody has their own talents. If you want to be popular or something, do it in the right way. If not, you will regret it yourself. That what I learn in watching this movie. But, everthing has changed now. There are many people who hates Miley due to her singing N**e in her new song, Wrecking Ball. We should study the cause why se sing N**e in her music video. Everything happens for a reason. I, too, kinda upset why she do it that way. After all, she is a teen idol. I hope she will change herself to her old self, a sweet smiling Miley Cyrus. Stop hating Miley! c:
